Barbara Gunn is a Research Scientist at Oregon Research Institute. She received a Ph.D. in Special Education from the University of Oregon in 1996, and has an extensive background in early reading instruction, curriculum development, and school-based intervention research. Her current research focuses on the prevention and remediation of reading disabilities, and the observation of teaching behaviors and their effects on student achievement.
