Adam is a proud Wyoming native and graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in Music Composition ('94). He works at all levels of media development, writing, directing and producing programs in collaboration with research scientists. He is the Principal Investigator on two projects funded through the National Institutes of Health, one for adoptive parents and the other on the topic of workplace safety. He is working with his colleagues at IRIS on projects funded through the Institute of Education Sciences at the Department of Education, as well as a number of other projects to deliver professional and personal development content online. He lives in Eugene, Oregon with his wife and three children and is an active member of the local NAACP, serving on the executive committee as the Unit Secretary.
